Please note that we do not send out substitutes.
If a plant is temporarily out of stock we will notify you and if you wish to be put on a waiting list a new order will have to be made, and sent to us with the relevant postage included.

Mail Order


1. Plants will be sent out when they are ready and the weather conditions are suitable. 
Aquatics, however, will be despatched  from late April to mid-August. Where an order contains aquatics and other plants both will be sent in the Summer.

2. All plants are sent out in good condition and of a size commensurate with posting.
We cannot be responsible for  losses occasioned by circumstances beyond our control, 
as plants are living things and can be affected by soil, planting and weather conditions. 
We will only replace a plant if a wrong variety has been sent, and the original plant is returned to us.

3. Payment must be made by limit cheque made out to Rowden Gardens on placing the order.  We cannot accept payment with Gift Tokens , Credit Card, or foreign currencies.

4. Postage and Packing Charge
Customers may not realise that these charges include the cost of the considerable time involved in collecting and safely packing the plants for despatch. 

Parcel Value less than  £10.00      P&P  £5.00
Parcel Value £10-00 to £30.00     P&P  £10.50
Parcel Value £31-00 to £60.00   P&P  £15.00
Parcel Value over £60.00   P&P  £20.00


However, large parcels are often better sent by Carrier. 
Charges for this are available on request so if you need
this service please send an SAE with your order.
Please note that if plants are sent in more than one parcel,
charges have to made as above for each parcel.

Prices and conditions on application. Minimum Order £200.00 per variety.


Export
We are happy to offer this service including provision of phyto-sanitary certificates at cost.  However, we have to make a handling charge and require payment of the total invoice cost in advance of despatch. This payment must be effected by sterling draft on a UK Bank
to avoid incurring heavy negotiation fees.
